Online Immersion

In this course, we combine Eastern traditions with Celtic folklore, with a strong emphasis on Celtic practices. We draw upon the wisdom of the Celtic Tree, stone circles, and more. Eastern techniques help open the body, while Celtic traditions—focused on poetry, music, and nature—deeply connect and heal us. By merging these two, we create a healing balance that flows through nature itself. You will immerse yourself in a 7-week experience. This journey takes you through the chakras, your body, and extends outward into singing and voice work. We will go through emotional and energetic layers, tackling various topics that will help you confidently use your voice and sing with self-assurance.

We are in silence, meditate, do yoga to bring our bodies into balance and attune them, and we breathe and sing. We also dive into Irish culture and are given tools to dare to use our voices, to stand firmly with both feet on the ground, and to work through blockages. We learn to ground ourselves, breathe, and open up. We take these techniques with us in our daily lives, even when we face difficult times and challenges.

The course focuses also on how people connect with one another within a community, how we are all part of a complex, interdependent network, and how music can contribute to the creation of communitas – a shared sense of equality, belonging, and solidarity. And how we take this with us to our homes.

My name is Sophie, and I spent some time in Ireland where I immersed myself in the Irish language and traditional Irish music. Later, I also became interested in other branches of Celtic culture. I wanted to develop something that would help people with their health while incorporating Celtic culture. The reason for this is that the aspects of healing and music are so closely connected.

The ways of thinking and habits in this culture are also very different from what we are often used to. I believe this lifestyle can offer us beautiful new insights in the fast-paced world we live in today.

What we do is combine yoga with meditation. We see the body as an instrument. When the body is properly tuned and in harmony with nature, we can produce special sounds. These sounds, along with the lyrics we sing, help us connect with our emotions and the vibrations in our bodies. We then resonate with a text or melody, just as we resonate with the vibrations from nature. When we are open to it, nature can heal us.

In both courses, we dive deep into Celtic culture and traditions. We sing the oldest songs, which often symbolize larger themes in the world. We also translate and discuss the lyrics so we can fully experience the power and meaning of the songs.

The start dates will appear soon, along with a brochure.

Sing, and sing badly if you must, but sing. You will not lose your voice; you will find it. And, in finding your voice, you will find yourself.
