DISCOVERING VOICE, PRESENCE AND COMMUNITY. EXPLORING THE POWER OF SPEAKING AND SINGING OUT. REMEMBERING THE JOY OF SHARED EXPRESSION. DEEPENING CONNECTION THROUGH SOUND AND TOGETHERNESS. In this third program, the focus shifts to liberating the voice in relation to the world around us. It is the movement from within to without: singing, speaking, and being fully present in community and in front of an audience. Overcoming fear Many people experience tension or fear when using their voice in groups. Step by step, we explore and release these patterns: Grounding in speaking and singing – standing, breathing, rooting. Posture and expression – how you stand, move, and connect with space and audience. Speaking and singing in small groups and larger settings – safe exposure in a supportive environment. Freeing the voice – learning to carry, project, and direct without force. Voice & speech exercises We develop both the technical and the expressive aspects of the voice: Speech exercises – articulation, tempo, rhythm, dynamics, clarity. Vocal exercises – tone, resonance, pitch, timbre. Singing and speaking together – listening, attuning, call-and-response, duet, and choir work. Discovering your own vocal color – embracing your authentic sound. Trauma & healing Voice and speech often touch deep layers. We give attention to: Acknowledging past experiences that silenced you. Practices for comforting and healing the inner child. Reflection: where do you stand now, what do you want to express, what steps belong to that path? Therapeutic exercises where voice, breath, and body awareness gently release blockages. Presence, audience & community We practice sharing with others: Presenting in front of a group – simplicity, focus, and authenticity. Body language and presence – letting your message resonate in posture and gesture. The group as a safe circle – the audience as support rather than judgment. Communitas – experiencing how shared sound creates equality, belonging, and connection. Result By the end of Program 3 you will be able to speak and sing more freely in public: grounded, clear, and courageously present. You will have concrete tools to break through fear, release blockages, and let your voice be heard – in tone, sound, and authentic presence.
